Guests and Peace Corps Volunteers

Demonstration Center:  ADI operates a demonstration center in Nouakchott for the purpose of demonstrating ideas for backyard food production.  Guests arriving from abroad or from the interior can book a room and stay for the night. SEE PHOTOS

Hours:  Business Hours are 8:30 am to 4 pm.  Overnight guests may arrive at any hour.  Call Todd (688-2560) or Antoine (525-8612) to check for room availability and make a reservation.

Services:  

*  Cost for high speed wireless internet access is 500 UM per day.

*  Use of the air conditioner is included in the price of your room.

*  Cleaning takes place from 11 am to 3 pm Monday thru Saturday.

*  Use of the kitchen is included in the cost of your room. 

Location:  The house is located just behind the World Bank.  From the Peace Corps Office, walk north toward the US Embassy.  At the BNP Bank turn left.  Go one block.  At the Societe Generale Bank turn right and walk north 200 meters.  Turn left on to an unpaved street and look for the 2^nd house on the left.  Enter by the tree gate.

Rules: 

1. Space downstairs is common area.  Please dress appropriately.

2. Fraternizing by male and female guests in rooms is not allowed.

3.  Please share refrigerator space and maintain a neat kitchen area. 

4.  This is a no smoking facility.

5.  Please turn off your air conditioner when you leave the room.
